Granary - a building, fairly large or quite small, intended for storage of produce, is common in Slovenia. It may be built exclusively from wood, with a thatched straw roof, or built with bricks, often with black or colour graphics.
Wooden kasca - granary is very small in Dolenjska region, rich with carving in Koroska region, distinctive in shape and dimensions in Stajerska, with columns and balconies in the centre, very high towards the coast. It is always exposed to the view (and wind), but not boastful, simply there in command of the property.
Aesthetic value of Slovenian granaries is high. They are modest, sincere, and typical of Slovenia.
